Colors of your property are not compromised and in most cases are improved. In the case of vinyl siding, white colors become brighter after being cleaned by TLC expert technicians.
- What is the recommended way to remove algae, dirt, fungus, grime, mildew, stains to keep my home in pristine condition?
Periodic cleaning of exterior surfaces is recommended. Frequency of cleaning will depend on local conditions. Also, cleaning can greatly slow the ravages of nature and it will definitely enhance the beauty and preserve the value and livability of your home.
- Why does TLC uses bio-degradable environmentally organic cleaners?
Our cleaning agents designed specifically to eliminate mildew and mold while also remove dirt and pollution. And it is safe for plants and bushes.
- How does TLC Cleaning keep from damaging my property when using high pressure?
Pressure is controlled with a variety of tips so as not to destroy paint, siding, and thus preventing stripping or gouging of surfaces.
- Will my plants be destroyed by pressure spraying?
Extreme caution taken to insure that flowers or flowering plants are not harmed. However, some plants are more sensitive to chemical run off and spraying, thus we can not guarantee the safety of all flowering plants and bushes.
- Why does TLC recommend controlled pressure washing?
To clean the house using as little pressure as is possible eliminates a number of problems, such as concerns of water being forced behind siding, paint being blown off and water being pushed in around windows and doors.
- Is it true that that pressure washing will damage or cause harm to painted or stained surfaces?
The fact is that yes a pressure washer can remove paint or stain from a house or deck. But if the pressure washing is being used by a trained user this should never occur. Painted or stained surfaces do not necessarily require high pressure. We rely on detergent to do the work. The detergent is applied to the surface and after sufficient dwell time it is rinsed down with water. The rinsing occurs from a distance that will have no effect on the removal of any paint or stain.
- Will my windows be streaked after you pressure wash?
Yes, even with the final step of flood rinsing all windows and glass surfaces can streak. Every effort is made to minimize streaks but nothing will stop water drying and streaking, except professional window cleaning.

Drying time depends on humidity levels, airflow to the room(s) cleaned, and the type of carpet in general, turning on your air conditioning or heating system (depending on the time of year and your location) will help speed the process. While it typically takes 2-24 hours for the carpet to dry, you can walk on it as soon as we are finished.

The carpet may be walked on with clean feet or indoor shoes immediately after cleaning; however it is recommended limiting activity on the carpet to foot traffic until it is completely dry.
